Morning Cacao Coffee Blend
A simple morning drink with a small trick that makes all the difference. Hot coffee melts the cacao and honey before blending — skip that step and it won't come together the same way.
Equipment
- Blender (NutraBullet or similar)
- Coffee brewing setup of your choice
Ingredients
- ✦Bitcoin Beans 100% cacao (to taste)
- ✦Coffee grounds (freshly brewed)
- ✦Honey or maple syrup (to taste)
- ✦Raw milk (to taste)
- ✦A pinch of salt flakes
- ✦Hot water
Method
- 01
Brew your coffee with hot water as you normally would — fresh and hot.
- 02
Add cacao and honey (or maple syrup) to your blender first.
- 03
Pour the hot coffee directly over the cacao and honey. This melts both before blending — don't skip this step.
- 04
Pour in your raw milk and add a small pinch of salt flakes.
- 05
Blend until smooth.
Tips
- →
Pouring hot coffee over the cacao first is the key — it breaks the cacao down properly before blending.
- →
If you add cacao straight to cold milk, it won't dissolve as well and the texture suffers.
- →
Adjust cacao and sweetener ratios to your taste — start small and build up.
